Digital Future Trip for Youth Careers

As the Sinop Youth, Education and Entrepreneurship Association, we have added another initiative to our ongoing efforts to equip our youth with the professional skills of the future and increase their sectoral awareness. Through the active interaction and collaboration of our association, and within the framework of the "SmartLog: Smart Logistics" project, conducted by the Sinop University Logistics and Entrepreneurship Student Club and supported by the UNIDES program, an eye-opening technical trip was organized to the Samsun Competence and Digital Transformation Center (Samsun Model Factory).

In this visionary organization, attended by 32 students as well as valuable academics, our young people had the opportunity to observe the digital transformation in production firsthand.

During the visit, which took place under the warm hospitality of the factory officials, Engineer Yağmur Şişman provided comprehensive training on the Model Factory approach, digital transformation applications, lean manufacturing processes, and the added value these processes provide to businesses. Immediately following the theoretical briefing, our students went to the application area and examined the production lines firsthand. During the visit, Samsun Model Factory Manager Onur Berberoğlu shared valuable information with the young people about sectoral expectations, internship opportunities, and collaboration opportunities. In the final part of the program, the workshops of Yeşilyurt Vocational High School located in Samsun Organized Industrial Zone were visited, and mutual exchange of ideas took place.

With the vision that comes from being a non-governmental organization, we will continue to support such innovative projects that combine the theoretical education of our young people with practical experience and broaden their horizons.
