A Meaningful Touch for Village Schools: Warming the Hearts of Little Ones

As the Sinop Youth, Education and Entrepreneurship Association, we have undertaken another meaningful project to strengthen the culture of social solidarity and warm the hearts of little ones. As part of an interactive collaborative project with our university students, we prepared handmade scarves and hats for students attending village schools during the harsh winter conditions.

In this event, planned and implemented under the guidance of our association member, academic Dr. Özlem Zoroğlu, and with the active support of our association, our university students knitted colorful scarves and hats according to the identified needs. These products, lovingly prepared and carefully packaged to contribute to the basic winter needs of our children, have set off on their way to their little owners.

With this project, which showcases one of the most concrete and beautiful examples of university-community collaboration, we aimed to both reinforce the sense of volunteerism among our university students and bring smiles to the faces of children in village schools.

With the sense of responsibility that comes with being a non-governmental organization, we will continue our support efforts, focusing on social benefit and especially targeting disadvantaged groups, without slowing down and expanding their scope in the coming periods. On behalf of our association, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the young volunteers who contributed to this act of kindness, weaving love stitch by stitch, and to the esteemed Dr. Özlem Zoroğlu. Together we are much stronger!
